Santa Rosa Therapist, Vicki Van Winkle, MFA, MFT  is a psychotherapist , healer, artist and an authorized teacher of yoga meditation who specializes in helping people to heal from trauma, depression, anxiety and relationship issues using multiple methods which focus on inwardly  empowering  people on their healing journey.

In 1981 Vicki taught her first yoga class at a high school in Pennsylvania.  Later she came to California to continue training in yoga, meditation and art. Vicki is grateful for the many years of intensive guidance and training in meditation, inner work and Jungian dreamwork for by Sufi teacher, Llewellyn Vaughn-Lee.  It was with the Sufis that Vicki first encountered the deep peace of transcendent meditation, and began to learn how to take on deeper levels of personal responsibility for her healing.

 The Sufis, being great teachers of personal integrity, responsibility and freedom, never restricted in any way the ongoing exploration of meditation and consciousness they inspired.  In 2005 Vicki met Himalayan Yoga Master Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath.  From Siddhanath she received extensive training in Hamsa Yoga, Surya Yoga and Kriya Yoga Meditation in the US as well as in India. In 2007 Siddhanath authorized Vicki to these healing meditation practices.

 Vicki is trained and licensed as a psychotherapist by the State of California. She was trained as a therapist at Willow Creek Treatment Center, Novato Youth Center and in the private practice of Landry Wildwind, LCSW, one of the early therapists to be a trainer in EMDR (Eye Movement De-sensensitization and Reprocessing).   These internships were completed after graduating from John F. Kennedy University (MA, Clinical Psychology) in 1994. Prior to becoming interested in being a therapist Vicki pursued her life long interest in consciousness through art, obtaining a graduate degree in art from California College of Art (MFA), after graduating from Maryland Institute, College of Art (Baltimore, MD) with a BFA in 1987.
